When an adjustment table goes down in a chiropractic office, the practice doesn't just lose a machine — it loses a room. Unlike a gym with a floor of interchangeable equipment, most chiropractic and PT offices run each table at near-constant use, and a single failure can mean canceling appointments for the rest of the day. Most practices have no existing service relationship for this equipment: when something breaks, the typical options are calling the manufacturer and getting quoted a factory rep visit weeks out, or being told the table needs to be replaced outright.
Heartbeat Fitness Repair provides on-site chiropractic and therapy table repair across Tampa Bay, working the same way we work with our existing hospital rehabilitation and physical therapy clients — diagnose on-site, repair on-site, and keep the equipment in the building the entire time.

We service Chattanooga, Hill, Lloyd, Leander, Zenith, Thuli, and most major chiropractic and treatment table manufacturers, covering both the mechanical and electrical systems that keep a table running: drop mechanisms, including full drop section replacement, elevation systems and their motors, rails and bearings, and electronic control systems. We also service traction tables, including units with integrated massage or roller features.
Across the tables we service, four issues account for most of our service calls, in this order of frequency: worn bearings, electronic control faults, drop mechanism and drop section failures, and torn or worn upholstery. Hydraulic leaks — a common concern with some types of medical equipment — are not a frequent issue on the tables we see; bearings and electronics wear out first, usually well before any hydraulic component does.
Torn upholstery is one of the most common — and most overlooked — problems in a chiropractic office. Many practices simply live with a torn pad for six months or more because they assume the only fix is a full table replacement. It isn't. We offer custom replacement pads fabricated to OEM quality through a contractor we work with, and the table stays in service for the entire fabrication period — typically four to five weeks. We measure your table on-site, the pad is fabricated off-site, and we return to install it on-site; your table never ships anywhere and never leaves your treatment room. Given that most practices are already living with the problem far longer than that, a four-to-five-week turnaround is a short wait, not a delay — and it costs far less than replacing the table.
Rather than waiting for a table to fail, we offer an annual preventive maintenance visit that covers every table and machine in your office in a single scheduled appointment — checking bearings, elevation systems, drop mechanisms, and electronics before they become the kind of failure that costs you a treatment room for a day.
Many of our chiropractic and PT clients also run fitness and rehab equipment in the same practice — treadmills, exercise bikes, functional trainers, and clinical equipment like the NuStep recumbent cross-trainer, SciFit upper/lower body ergometers, and Biodex systems. We service all of it, so a single visit or a single annual maintenance plan can cover your treatment tables and your fitness equipment together.
We coordinate ultrasound and electrical stimulation equipment repair — handling diagnostics and managing the return process with the manufacturer when a unit needs factory service.
Every service visit includes a written report documenting what was diagnosed, what was repaired, and what to watch going forward — useful for practice records and for tracking equipment history across board or staff changes. Our service call fee is $149.99–$169.99, covering travel, a full diagnostic, and the first hour of labor; facility-wide contracts are quoted separately based on your table and equipment count. We're available Monday–Friday 5:00 AM–7:00 PM and Saturday 7:00 AM–2:00 PM.
