Heartbeat Fitness Repair is Tampa Bay's trusted on-site fitness equipment repair company. We are a Pinellas County-based, independently owned specialty service focused exclusively on fitness equipment — treadmills, ellipticals, exercise bikes, rowing machines, stair climbers, strength equipment, and more. We serve residential homes, commercial gyms, healthcare facilities, and institutional clients throughout Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee, Sarasota, and Pasco counties.

Our Story

Heartbeat Fitness Repair was founded in 2025 in Pinellas County, Florida with a clear purpose: to give Tampa Bay residents and businesses access to a real specialist — not a general handyman who happens to carry a wrench, but a technician whose entire professional focus is fitness equipment. Owner Toren has worked in fitness equipment repair since 2016, and the business grew out of firsthand experience watching equipment owners get poor service from generalists who guessed at diagnoses, ordered the wrong parts, and left machines in worse shape than they found them.

From our home base in Seminole, we've grown to cover five counties across the greater Tampa Bay region. Over the years we've completed more than 5,000 repairs — in private homes, hotel fitness rooms, commercial gyms, cardiac rehab centers, and military installations. That breadth of experience is what separates a specialist from a generalist: when you've seen the same failure on the same motor controller dozens of times, you know immediately what the correct fix is.

Our lead technician, Toren, is also the owner and managing partner of Heartbeat Fitness Repair. He holds manufacturer-authorized service credentials for the brands we service most — including Life Fitness Authorized Service Technician, Precor Certified Repair Technician, Matrix Fitness Authorized Technician, and NordicTrack Authorized Service Technician programs. These aren't generic electronics certifications applied to fitness machines; they are brand- and model-specific training programs delivered by each manufacturer's own engineering and service teams, covering the exact failure modes, diagnostic procedures, and repair protocols that brand's equipment requires.

We carry this expertise across the full range of fitness equipment categories: cardio machines (treadmills, ellipticals, exercise bikes, rowing machines, stair climbers) and strength equipment (cable systems, functional trainers, multi-station units).
